Mississauga First Nation Waste & Recycling Transfer Station

Blind River, Ontario

In 2017 A.B.T. Construction & Forestry Inc. secured our first government capital funded tender for Mississauga First Nation. This $966,000 project required decommissioning of their existing landfill and new construction of a waste and recycling transfer station in Blind River, Ontario. ABT excavated and moved large quantities of material, safely transported hazardous waste, and completed full landfill remediation and site restoration — returning the land to productive use. This project reflects ABT's expertise in environmentally responsible decommissioning, site grading, and waste infrastructure construction for First Nations communities.

Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nations — Business Park Road Construction Phase 1

Whitefish, Ontario

This 2.5 million dollar new road construction business lot development in Whitefish, Ontario included the installation of water main and sewers and was capital funded by government tender. This project began in the fall of 2018 and was completed in summer of 2019.
